Weekend Reading

Hey, friends! Happy Saturday!

I’ve got a really fun reveal coming up for you next week – we’ve been quietly working on making some changes in Jackson’s bathroom (which you’ve basically never seen because we’ve never done anything to it), and it’s looking so, so good. I can’t wait to share the reveal, and then we’ll have all sorts of fun related projects to share afterwards!

Now that we’re finally wrapping up this bathroom, we’re done with all of the big projects we’ve committed to this summer…and you know what that means? It’s time to take on the workshop! We’ve painted it and spent some time working on it last summer, but we never finished the organizing part which means that it’s pretty much back to a point where you can barely even open the door. I’m hoping to get it all nice and organized within the next few weeks – and then share a few thoughts with you guys on how in the world to keep all of those dang tools organized!

Okay, are you ready for some inspiration from a few of my favorite blogs from the month? Let’s do it – and be sure to drop a few of your favorite links in the comments, too! I love knowing what you guys are reading!

Links I’m Loving This Month

This kitchen is so dreamy – I’ve been tossing around the idea of butcher block counters in our kitchen, and this is so inspiring! I also am really feeling the counters in this kitchen.

If you’re looking for a good gray paint color, this post is for you. There are so many options out there, it can be so hard to pick the right one for your space! I wish we had spent a little more time choosing the gray in the downstairs of our home – a post like this would have been so helpful!

These patios are all so pretty, and the fifth picture makes me want to try painting our concrete patio! What do you think? Could I pull it off?!

This planter wall is so fun! I’ve been planning on building a plate rack for our kitchen, but the more ideas I see like this, the more tempted I am to try something similar. How perfect would this be in our little breakfast nook?!

I really love everything about this kitchen, but the little desk nooks are probably my favorite part! I’ve always loved kitchens with little spaces like this, and these are styled so perfectly.

The vanities in this bathroom are so good. I’ve also been looking for a rug just like the ones in here for my kitchen – they’re gorgeous! Oh! And the tile on the shower floor? Perfection.

I love this idea for house numbers! It looks so pretty with the plants, and the scale is fantastic. I wish we had room for something along these lines on the front of our hhouse! Also, who doesn’t love adding some pretty greenery to the side of your home?!

I really love this backyard potting area. I’m wanting to set something similar up behind our workshop, and this is great inspiration! The shelves look so great, and i love the idea of adding pea gravel back there – that would be a perfect solution for the often-messy area behind and on the side of the shop.

This hacked IKEA desk is so pretty! The counter she used for the top is basically exactly what I want to do in our kitchen. Isn’t that pattern just amazing?!
